Oh, good Lord! I’m surprised that he can stand. Usually they are addressing an empty room–it’s all just for TV. Such ineptitude. To complete the scene they need someone off to the side playing a violin.

It is a shame that a Senator would be on the floor representing his ,or her constituency, in such a state. Looking past this man’s condition, I think we should consider what it means when a person of this “caliber” is so obviously upset with the state of things. His drunkeness is a direct reflection of the state of our country . If WE knew what he does we might all be more inclined to excessive drinking. Our “leaders” are ALL out of touch, sober or not! Â
