If you’ve been paying attention since the beginning of 2020, you knew a food crisis was coming. The media and ruling elites are just now beginning to warn that they are causing a “food crisis”, the worst of which has not been seen since WWII.

Of course, they are failing to blame the immense inflation on the fiat currency creation, and instead are resorting to blaming the conflict between Russia and Ukraine for the problem. The U.N. food chief warned Tuesday the war in Ukraine has created “a catastrophe on top of a catastrophe” and will have a global impact “beyond anything we’ve seen since World War II” because many of the Ukrainian farmers who produce a significant amount of the world’s wheat are now fighting Russians, according to a report by Time Magazine.

PREPPING FOR THE UPCOMING GOVERNMENT-INDUCED FOOD SHORTAGES

David Beasley, executive director of the U.N. World Food Program, told the U.N. Security Council that already high food prices are skyrocketing. The war in Ukraine is turning “the breadbasket of the world to breadlines” for millions of its people, while devastating countries like Egypt which normally gets 85% of its grain from Ukraine, and Lebanon which got 81% in 2020, Beasley said.

Ukraine and Russia produce 30% of the world’s wheat supply, 20% of its corn, and 75%-80% of the sunflower seed oil. The World Food Program buys 50% of its grain from Ukraine, he said.

Russia is blaming the West’s sanctions for the food crisis. Russia’s U.N. ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, retorted that the Russian military is “posing no threat to the freedom of civilian navigation.” He said that Russia has set up an 80 nautical-mile-long humanitarian corridor to allow foreign vessels to leave Ukrainian ports and that it is organizing humanitarian corridors every day within Ukraine to Russia and the West. “The real reasons why the global food market is facing serious turbulence are by no means in the actions of Russia, (but) rather in the unbridled sanctions hysteria that the West has unleashed against Russia without considering the population of the so-called Global South nor of its own citizens,” Nebenzia said.

Regardless, neither of these is fully to blame, both only added fuel to an already burning fire. Food was getting scarce and prices were climbing noticeably a year ago, and much earlier than that for some in certain areas of the world.

Continue to prepare until you cannot prepare anymore. Get what you need because it sure looks like there will be a time in the near future, when you cannot anymore.

      1. So, this post is mostly just my opinion.

There have always been famines. It’s what kept the population in check. At one point, other than a bad year every so often, all countries were able to supply their own food. It was localized production, and it only allowed the population to expand as much as it could be fed locally.

The real problem started when international agencies began to think they could eliminate all hunger. By doing this, it allowed populations to grow bigger than they normally would have. Now you will have huge famines that will correct the situation back to something more sustainable whether we like it or not.

I see a shortage of food for North America also. A shortage of worldwide fertilizer means less food everywhere. A shortage of diesel means less fuel for tractors and delivery rigs.

If you can’t grow your own food, or source it locally, I’m afraid you may also be liquidated.

        • You nailed it! Totally agree.

Most people do not know the history of international food aid after World War II. It had nothing to do with helping people and everything to do with dumping agricultural surplus and creating dependency.

The side effect of this was the ballooning populations we see across the turd world. The ballooning populations far outstrip the ability of these countries to control themselves and so there is war, civil unrest, bad development etc.

As a solution to the unrest and the ballooning populations our ‘benevolent’ governments have decided to import this surplus population, while at the same time raising the cost of having children and starting families in the West (gotta get that white European population knocked down!).

But why do this? Because they want the cheapest labor possible and the highest profits possible. It’s that simple.

      2. It’s interesting how they now
        blame EVERYTHING on the
        Russian – Ukraine conflict,
        as if everything was just
        wonderful before that and
        all of these problems (food
        crisis, record inflation, etc.)
        had not been building for
        years and years and years.

      3. “It’s obviously
        all Putins’ fault”.

        ~ yours truly,
        resident Joe Biden

        • And the Covid vax narrative was dropped like a bad habit with Russia Russia Russia.? I thought Hitlery Arkancide turned that horse into glue five times already but I guess I was wrong.
The gubermint could tell me water is wet and the sky is blue and I wouldn’t believe them! Lost all credibility. We must add a medical treatment clause to the constitution cause the Nuremberg code was as useless as tits on a boar!

      4. Maybe we should have been putting the overabundance of food we’ve produced over the last decades in storage instead of in our bellies.

Think of it, obesity may even go out of fashion if the shortages last long enough.

      5. No worries, we will just eat the elites with a nice glass of kianti and some Fava beans!

        • @NoVaxCidentForMe,
          good idea. I heard they
          taste like chicken.

      6. The west DOES consider their own populations for extinction, that’s a bonus they want from this war. Next is the fall of the dollar and them releasing another bioweapon -hemorrhagic fever- and forcing new death vaxes on those who refused the Covid death shot.

They announced this FDA newly approved vaccine for it at the last CDC meeting for a plan of roll out after Aug 2022 meeting…..but said nothing about Covid. You can see how they are planning the new Hemorragic disease Bioweapon in real time.

        • White lives don’t matter. Look at what they are doing to Ukraine. That’s what they want to do to the rest of Europe. Stoke war and unrest.

They could have stopped the war a million times before it started. But the war industry needed its dividends for the investors.

          • People like to put the cause of wars on anything and everything but profit, but without war machine profits, certain people making lots and lots of money, there would be no wars.

      7. Speaking of a food crisis…it must be time to start planting. Warm sunny weather…daffodils blooming…turkeys feeding out back in the woods.

My neighbor with the big bazooms was out pulling weeds today…topless.

I just wish his wife would do the same…

        • ?

        • @JRS, thanks for
          the laughs.

      8. The conditions that come along with famine have implications beyond those effected. Wars can reasonably accurately be defined as theft from nation to nation. Nothing can create the desperate conditions for wars more than a starving civilian population. Therefore famine will likely have a tag along companion in war as nations “steal” from their neighbors. I suspect the third world will be in chaos which due to global investment drag the developed world into the carnage.

      9. The U.N is literally wetting there panties over population starvation.

      10. Stock up,the stores are starting to look thin. You are on your own. You will have to protect it.

      11. All these problems in the world just show us, this is what happens when we allow mentally ill people to dictate and rule over us.

      12. Food is the most visible expression of greed and gluttony. It says everything about a culture and society. What does America’s food say about America?

First observation: most Americans consume far too many calories but also little of nutritional value. Most Americans would be very healthy if they just ate peanut butter and carrots.

It doesn’t take much to feel full and to be healthy. For example, eat an apple and you will feel full for a couple hours. Have squash soup for lunch and feel full for 5 hours.

In the third world most people receive food aid from the first world. Much of this food aid is given in exchange for sex. What does that say about the cultures of the third world? Of the human condition?

How many calories does it take to keep a beautiful teen on just the edge of hunger to do this for food? What is the equation for that?
